Baby photography at Fangting Photography is a premium experience for your family – simply relax and we’ll take care of all the details! We want you to be able to be present and enjoy this milestone experience in your family’s life. Here’s what you can expect from the process.

Connect With Us

Get in touch with Fangting Photography to chat about your baby photos and book your session. Whether you’re booking a sitter session, first birthday portraits, or other milestone baby photos, we recommend booking a few months in advance as our schedule does fill up. If you want to have your custom artwork before a certain date, book your session for at least six weeks before that date.

The Consultation

Once your session is booked, we’ll meet for a personal consultation to discuss and plan the perfect photo session for your baby. We’ll chat about any vision you have for your baby’s portraits, where and how you may want to display your portraits, and other details to plan a session that is customized to your family.

The Photo Shoot

It’s time to bring your vision to life! You’ll bring your baby to our San Diego baby photography studio, and we’ll take care of every detail. We’ll use our abundant stock of baby photo props, outfits, and accessories, and will often create a custom set for your baby.

04.

The Final Images

A week or two after your photo shoot, we’ll meet with you again for the ultimate photo reveal! You’ll see your baby’s sweet photos from the session and choose your favorites, and we’ll help you design and order the perfect display for your artwork. We offer the highest quality of heirloom artwork including photo albums, framed prints, and more.

WHEN IS THE RIGHT TIME TO BOOK MY SESSION?

It’s never too early to get on the schedule! We often fill our schedule a few months in advance, so we recommend booking about three months ahead for your baby photography session. However, if you don’t have three months until your baby’s milestone, reach out anyway – we may have a cancellation or availability!

what types of baby sessions do you offer?

We offer a wide range of baby photo sessions for your little one’s first year! Our most popular sessions are sitter sessions (taken when your baby can sit up on their own but isn’t crawling much or walking yet) and our first birthday sessions. Our mommy & me sessions are unique and popular photo shoots too! But you don’t need a specific milestone – we can capture any beautiful stage of your baby’s first year.

HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION LAST?

It depends! A typical baby photography session lasts about an hour so that we get beautiful photos before your baby gets too tired or fussy. For a baby photo shoot with parents in the portraits, the session is about 90 minutes.

HOW MANY OUTFITS DO I NEED TO BRING FOR BABY?

As we specialize in baby photography, we have a rich client closet filled with beautiful baby outfits for a variety of sizes and looks for baby regular size 6 month to 1 year. We may have something that fits a 2 year old. If your baby is outside this fit then you may need to bring your own outfits. For parents photos clients need to bring their own.
